Our Day Of Coordinators have an eye for detail. We can spot a smudge on glass cylinders from across the room. We will adjust (and readjust) chairs to the proper distance from the table.
We triple check seating charts, ensure candles are straight, desserts are perfectly arranged. In short, we thrive on perfectly executed décor. But, our attention to detail does not stop at coordinating beautiful décor.
As your coordinator, we are there to make sure you and your wedding party look just as fabulous as our crystal vintage glassware.
On March 2nd, 2024 Port 393 hosted Nicole and Austin and their amazing, fun-filled guests. I had the pleasure of making Nicole’s décor vision a reality. Bright silver chargers popped against crisp, black linens, silk white florals custom ordered by the bride and woven into Port 393’s greenery.
Together with Nicole’s father, I assisted in installing a custom arbor for the ceremony and placed florals to the proper height. By the end of the morning, Nicole’s wedding dream was complete.
The reception space was not the only wedding element to benefit from our coordinating services. I also had the opportunity to ensure Nicole and her bridesmaids looked as lovely as the layout.
Our Day of Coordinators have been known to pull together a slightly disheveled groomsman. We are not leery of loose hems or crooked boutonnières. At Nicole’s wedding, the girls’ attire benefitted from our coordinating experience.
Bridesmaid dresses don’t always hold up well in transit. Plane rides, cramped cars, and small children can take their toll on most fabrics. In Nicole’s case, chiffon was the fabric of choice and in the hustle and bustle of wedding weekend, her bridesmaids needed assistance in steaming dresses.
While Nicole and her girls were enjoying mimosas, I set to work tackling stubborn wrinkles. When an unexpected stain popped up on one of the dresses, I was there to troubleshoot.
We can’t forget the hair. Face framing curls can come loose from time to time. A quick line up of bridesmaids and a curling iron and some hairspray and I had those curls back up in their proper place.
Nicole wore a gorgeous ivory gown with lace and beaded overlay to say I do. When two of the lace appliqués came loose on the bodice before the ceremony, I stitched them back in their proper place. When it’s time to party our coordinators have your bustle’s back. Even the most detailed seamstress instructions can leave a maid of honor confused when attempting to tackle 8 labeled ribbons or hidden hooks.
As a coordinator, I’ve seen every type of bustle and we had Nicole’s dress hooked up and ready for dancing before guests even noticed she was gone.
Our Day Of Coordinator’s love a perfectly executed waterfall napkin. We love a gorgeous bride and groom just as much. And we are there to make sure your wedding day is lovely in all aspects.
It was such a pleasure to work with Nicole and Austin to bring their vision to life.
