Being present on your wedding day allows you to be able to take in all of the emotions & create lasting memories with those you love.
So, take a deep breath, let go of any distractions, and let us give you some tips on how to be present on your most special day.

When planning weddings couples can strive for “perfection”. And while things most likely will go according to plan, it helps to approach your wedding day with the mindset that, “things might change, and that’s okay!”. One of the most common things that we see change on the wedding day is the timeline.
This mindset can lead to a less stressful and more enjoyable day! Focusing on the love that you share is what it is all about anyways!
Mindful Moments
There can be a lot going on during your wedding day! Whether it’s making sure that things are set up or trying to get your hair and makeup done – it can get chaotic. Throughout the day, make sure that you are scheduling time to be fully present and soak up all of the emotions.
You only get one shot at this day so try not to miss a single moment! We recommend scheduling time with just your partner once, twice or three times on the day of (even if it’s just 10 minutes)
Delegate Responsibilities
During the day you and your partner shouldn’t be thinking about managing the wedding day!
You should be delegating your work so that you are able to relax and enjoy the day you have been planning for such a long time. Sometimes this can be easier said than done, but trust us, you will have a less stressful day if you delegate to those around you.

At Port 393, we want to help make your special day as easy as possible. This is why we have an amazing in-house day of coordinators (DOC) to help you plan! These DOCs work with you between six months to one year out before your wedding day to make sure that no detail is lost.
If you choose to have a Day of Coordinator they will be at the venue before you even arrive making sure everything is perfect, and they won’t leave until after you do. They will put everything into the day to make it magical for you and your guests!
