Your day is finally here. Every detail has been thought out, and then thought out again. Flowers are in place, cake is frosted, suits are tailored, dresses are hemmed, and vows are perfect. Now all that is left, is to start the big day. What can you expect from the team at Port 393 when you arrive?
Entrance:
The first thing you might notice is that our front doors will not be open. We ask all people arriving before the wedding to use the door labeled “DELIVERY” on the south side of the building. This helps our staff to keep a pulse on who is entering and exiting the building. We will unlock the main entrance doors so guests can arrive one hour prior to the event start time.
Set up:
You’ll then notice the set up crew transforming our venue to make your vision come to life. Our set up crew will be wearing shirts that say “Champagne Set Up Crew” and will be hard at work making sure everything is looking perfect. We can guarantee the team will have tables, chairs and table cloths ready and set up by 11am. If you are bringing your own decor, we ask that you please wait until 11am to set it up. If you need any assistance throughout the day or have questions, feel free to find our team members from the set up crew and they will be happy to assist you.
Getting Ready:
After meeting the set up crew, you’ll make your way upstairs to the Champagne Suite. This is our getting ready area equipped with natural lighting, full-length mirrors, a dozen outlets and comfortable seating. One thing to note is that we do not allow outside alcohol but you can bring in non-alcoholic beverages as well as food while you’re getting ready. We don’t want anyone getting hangry. The Champagne Suite, upstairs lounge area and the rooftop patio are all yours to use for the day. Make yourself comfortable and enjoy getting ready in our space.
If you ordered mimosas, our Champagne Set Up Crew will bring those to you around 10am. Anyone who is drinking alcohol should be prepared to show an ID. We offer bottomless mimosas until 1pm so when you need a refill, just let us know and we will bring more champagne!
Venue Manager:
Another detail you’ll notice is that your venue manager won’t be there in the morning. Our managers arrive at the venue approximately 1-2 hours before the event starts. We have a detailed and organized system in place to make sure everything is set up correctly. Our set up crew is equipped to handle morning of operations and hand off the duties to the venue manager when they arrive.
The final thing you can expect is to have the absolute best day ever! Our team wants to make sure that your day is filled with as much joy and as little stress as humanly possible. Let us take on the stress and you focus on what matters: GETTING MARRIED!
