Our Team

Learn about our story and the dream team that makes it all happen for your special day

Hello everyone!

We are Candice & Brian, the owners of Holland’s newest luxury event venue: Port 393.

After going through the planning process for our own wedding in 2019, we were unable to find a venue that we felt met our needs. We believe that couples navigating the course of life together should enjoy the engagement process and be given all the tools necessary for a successful occasion.

We made the decision to host our own wedding at home and simultaneously create a plan for our future business together.

We poured our hearts and souls into the creation of Port 393 and incorporated all the simplicity, beauty and elegance we wished to find for our own wedding. We chose not to remodel the previous structure on the 393 Cleveland property because we did not want to settle.

We wanted to provide an exceptional view of the lake, a relaxing rooftop patio, a luxurious lounge, a large, modern reception space, and every other minor detail necessary to creating an enjoyable planning process.

“The Port 393 mission is to turn dreams into realities and ensure every client is beyond pleased on the day of their celebration.”

– Candice Grant, Owner

Meet the Dream Team

Hey! I’m Lauren.

I am the newest member of the Port 393 team. I am a senior at Grand Valley State University, pursuing my degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management with an events focus.

Like many of you, I am a COVID-19 bride and have been working through a lot of the issues that so many brides are also struggling with during this 2020 pandemic.

If you’re a bride too, hang in there! We would love to help make your big day happen.
